Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning and Execution Assist the Global Head of Data in developing and implementing strategic plans. Monitor progress against strategic objectives and adjust plans as necessary.
- Operational Efficiency Oversee operational aspects of the Data Department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Project Management and Coordination Coordinate and oversee key projects and initiatives within the department, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
- Stakeholder Communication Act as a liaison between the Data Department and other departments, executive leadership, and external partners. Ensure clear communication and alignment on data-related initiatives.
- Leadership and Team Development Assist in leading the department, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Mentor and develop emerging leaders within the team.
- Policy and Procedure Development Collaborate with department leaders to develop, implement, and refine policies and procedures that support the data governance framework and data management practices.
- Budget and Resource Management Assist with budget preparation and management. Ensure optimal allocation of resources for projects and operational needs.
- Meeting and Event Coordination Organize and facilitate departmental meetings, retreats, and other events. Ensure that key outcomes and action items are documented and followed up on.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to influence change and outcomes with senior leaders outside reporting lines/department.
- Experience with maintaining internal client relationships to drive, through collaboration, business and data driven outcomes towards increased flow and reduced costs in the operating model.
- Leader who began career in technical role and migrated to business/data leadership position.
- Experience with enterprise information strategy development, concepts, and execution responsibilities
