Job Description
Strengthens relationships with USBAMs existing and prospective institutional asset management clients by working with Relationship Managers to develop and execute proactive and creative contact strategies. Primary responsibility is supporting client retention and new business development efforts to enhance the client experience and maximize revenue growth. This position is on the sales enablement team and will partner across the firm with relationship managers, portfolio managers, operations and admin, marketing, finance, product developers, and the broader sales enablement team to support current clients and new business initiatives.
Specific responsibilities include but not limited to
- Respond to client inquires.
- Coordinate client onboarding.
- Prepare and deliver marketing presentations for individual client and prospect meetings.
- Support new business development efforts and pipeline management activities.
- Proactively research prospect information and support lead generation for new business development activities.
- Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Analyze data to incorporate into client/prospect materials/communications.
- Develop customized reporting to meet client needs not met by standard system reporting.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience.
- Financial services experience.
- Two or more years of experience in sales, marketing, or relationship management.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- FINRA Series 6 and 63 license or ability to obtain within 120 days.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Working knowledge of Asset Management products and services
- Strong relationship management and business development/sales skills.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience complying with risk management and compliance guidelines at a large financial institution.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM system.
Hybrid/flexible schedule
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means theres an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
