We are seeking a motivated finance professional to join the Treasury Analytics function which is part of the Finance Organization. Our team is responsible for the financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, Senior Management reporting, and rating agency strategy and communications related to the firm's liquidity position, balance sheet, cash sources and uses, capital structure, and debt capacity. This role is structured to provide exposure across all fields of Treasury Analytics and build an extensive knowledge of Apollo's businesses and the alternative asset management industry.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive rating agency strategy on behalf of Apollo Global Management and Apollo Asset Management, including formulation of upgrade strategy, framework optimization, providing regular updates to senior management on rating agency & industry developments, peer reviews, and maintaining frequent, transparent communication with rating agency analytical coverage teams
  • Develop subject matter expertise in rating agency methodologies (S&P, Fitch, Moody's) that drive business risk profile and financial risk profile assessments, including calculation of leverage and other rating agency metrics
  • Lead cross-functionally to provide Treasury review & analysis of strategic investments and initiatives
  • Be a thought leader across the Treasury team and the broader organization as it pertains to liquidity, balance sheet and capital-related considerations
  • Own detailed and flexible models supporting capital deployment analytics and execution, including dividend increases and share repurchases
  • Ad hoc special projects

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10-15 years of financial analysis experience
  • Proven knowledge of financial statements and experience in business reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Proven experience with balance sheet, liquidity or capital forecasting is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exposure to sophisticated organizational structures
  • Highly analytical excellent Excel-based modeling
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Drives with independence, high energy and a can do demeanor
  • Bachelor's degree required
