What you will be responsible for

As a VP in the Transfer Agency Alternatives Team, you will

  • Direct the management of one or more operational areas with a complex function.
  • Leads and develops teams to achieve the goals of the Transfer Agent and State Street.
  • Fosters successful interaction with client and vendor organizations and other areas of the bank.
  • Assesses staffing needs. Recruits, selects, trains, evaluate and manage teams.
  • Observes and enforces all deadlines and deliverables within area of responsibility and works with multiple internal and external partners to ensure no service interruptions or failures
  • Develops and implement s process improvements and effectively manages change to ensure departmental and organizational objectives are met.
  • Resolves exceptional problems.
  • Manages direct and indirect budgetary responsibilities effectively.
  • Participates in the development of an effective marketing/service strategy for prospects and existing clients i.e., presentations, proposals, and contract support.
  • Presents effectively to internal and external parties, including clients.
  • Formulates, recommends and implements departmental goals, policies and budgets.
  • Ensures accurate and timely preparation of financial and management reports.
  • Develops and achieves targets concerning conversion of new business.
  • Manages other projects or tasks as assigned.
  • Develops and maintain strong client relationships.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS required with a minimum of 10 years' experience in financial services advanced degree is preferred.
  • The incumbent must have 5 - 7 years' management experience.
  • The incumbent should possess substantial operational background.
  • The incumbent must possess superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • The incumbent must possess strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • The incumbent must possess strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
