Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Marketing, Creative, Compliance, Data, Product Management, Investments and Distribution teams to refresh and maintain content regarding Columbia Threadneedle Investments products (OEICs, SICAVs, etc.).
- Coordinate with business partners in distributing the materials to the appropriate channels/media.
- Work with product marketing team in the creation, editing, and review of product materials.
- Work with content marketing team in managing the workflow, approval process and dissemination of regular reporting and thought leadership collateral.
- Manage workflow process of marketing material using internal project/workflow tool to manage timelines and ensure deadlines are being met.
- Initiate, update and manage the compliance approval process of marketing materials. This includes incorporating appropriate disclosure on materials, submitting documents for compliance review, and working to finalize materials based on any compliance comments.
- Own and manage our shareholder mailing process, coordinating closely between Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Third Party Oversight and Client Relationship Management teams. Ensure mailings are reviewed and approved and hit relevant mailing dates. Update the teams regularly through regular stakeholder meetings and become the go-to person in coordinating this activity throughout the year.
- Own the delivery of translations for our agreed marketing materials (e.g., thought leadership content, fund flyers). Agree requirements with local markets and manage the relationship with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers to create the most efficient process possible.
- Communicates status updates and completion timing to Senior Marketing Manager, product managers and business partners.
- Develops and monitors effectiveness and usage and makes recommendations for improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Economics or any related fields and/or MBA (Finance).
- 5 7 years of relevant experience in financial domain.
- Experience with writing, editing and presentation programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills to track and manage multiple marketing pieces with various process steps and deadlines.
- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Ability to navigate process documents with minimal guidance.
