What is the opportunity
?
Join the Reconciliations Technology team in Capital Markets as we continuously deliver new capabilities to modernize operational business processes by delivering enterprise grade solutions. We are seeking a talented and adaptable Business Systems Analyst to maintain an existing portfolio of applications and deliver new business capabilities.
What will you do?
- Gather projects business requirements from business end users and stakeholders, do requirements analysis, prepare functional specifications, document test scenarios and functional test cases. Ensure the business requirements are complete, consistent, comprehensible, and traceable.
- Interact with numerous source systems/teams and do data analysis, data mapping & prepare data mapping specifications.
- Develop detailed plans for preparing functional specification, data mapping and testing activities.
- Closely work with development team, do requirements walkthrough, and clarify all requirements queries through out the SDLC phases.
- Meet with business and technology leads to understand objectives and map out technical and testing requirements based on Strategic roadmaps.
- Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions. Facilitate requirements prioritization based on business value.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
- 7+ years of experience with business systems analysis, expertise in business requirements gathering & analysis, preparing functional specifications.
- Experience in data analysis, data mapping, creating data mapping specifications, test planning, functional test case preparation, and functional testing.
- Knowledge of Financial Services / Capital Markets products and trade lifecycle
- Experience with databases & SQL, familiarity with ETL processes
- Deadline-driven and results-oriented able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
