What is the opportunity?

You will provide administrative service support to a portfolio of the bank's UK and European syndicated loans. This position will work EMEA business hour shifts.

Region EMEA

Working Hours 4pm-1am / 5pm-2am

What will you do?

  • The bank acts as Agent to syndicated credit facilities with multiple banks and lenders, the primary objective of the position is to provide day-to-day administration of these credit facilities in an efficient and professional manner
  • The role includes
    • Process transactions upon request from assigned clients in accordance with the relevant Credit Agreement
    • Process loan principal, interest and fee transactions as required by the Credit Agreement
    • Assist with the daily reconciliation of the Agency internal accounts by following up for missing or excess funds
    • Maintain the bank's records and databases
    • Work with other team members to deal with complex queries, contribute to IT or other projects, and resolving any issues as required
    • Provide support for the growth of RBC Capital Markets lending business in UK and Continental Europe.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • University degree or equivalent,
  • 2+ years of experience in loan administration
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Strong organisational and time management capabilities. Ability to meet consistently high quality standards while handling a variety of tasks with time-sensitive deadlines.

Nice-to-have

  • Prior experience in loans agency
  • Fluency in another European language
