Description
Under limited supervision, the CPO will lead the procurement organization using extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience, to oversee the direction and development of sourcing, contracting, and other procurement activities while serving as the lead for the purchasing of direct, indirect, and capital goods and services across the firm. Initiates and leads projects, programs and/or processes, sometimes involving cross-functional teams, to achieve significant business and enterprise impact. Drives Procurement and influences business unit strategic direction. Coordinates the enterprise's demand for commodities, services, while leading strategic sourcing, category management and supplier management initiatives in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Extensive contact with senior and executive management is required to provide comprehensive solutions to complex problems and requirements.Job Summary Cost Containment and ReductionEssential Duties and Responsibilities
