We are looking for a Senior Associate to join the Life Insurance Solutions team to help shape the strategic direction of the business, advance cross-functional strategic initiatives, develop compelling positioning of our products, support the implementation of new and innovative product offerings, and partner with key stakeholders in achieving business objectives.
Our ideal candidate brings a mix of strategic thinking, understanding of life insurance value propositions and personal finance, and enjoys cross-functional collaboration. They also have strong communication, organizational, and project management skills, along with an ability to juggle competing priorities and a proven track record of delivering on commitments and generating results.
Primary responsibilities includeProduct Positioning
- Lead development of product positioning strategies, including clearly identifying target markets and key value propositions vs. alternative solutions (life insurance and investments)
- Partner with Product Management, Marketing, and Distribution to clearly distinguish product value propositions for agents/advisors, along with supporting creation of sales concepts, collateral, and presentations
- Support Product Management in the planning and implementation of new and innovative products
- Analyze industry trends, performance of current products, field feedback, and other data points in making recommendations on and supporting early stage product ideation and business case development
Strategic Planning and Initiatives
- Support the development of strategic plans and projects to assess areas of opportunity to drive LIS business outcomes
- Create clear and compelling presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and scope, along with successful execution and delivery
- Support communication and executive reporting of progress toward strategic objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience (e.g., in strategy, consulting, marketing, product management), ideally with a background in life insurance or consumer finance
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while managing competing priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong working relationships with team members/partners
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
$90,000-$135,000Salary range
