Blackstone's Strategic Support & Financial Planning group is looking for an Analyst. Job responsibilities include
- Management Reporting / Financial Planning & Analysis
- Forecasting, variance analysis and reporting key financial metrics
- Liaise with other support groups to provide comprehensive expense reporting across all functions
- Assist in preparing annual budget for firmwide groups
- Scope and project plan definition, management, and execution of high priority projects across the organization
- Meeting and discussion facilitation with key stakeholders across the Firm
- Project status reporting to upper management and stakeholders
- Manage expense transformation workstreams to improve existing expense management processes and systematize reporting
- Preparing and executing ad hoc analysis, presentations and projects requested by Senior Management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a quantitative discipline (preferred), or 2+ years of experience in a financial role, and a strong academic record
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills and detail-oriented
- Thorough and organized, with an ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple projects
- Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Essbase a plus
- Highly motivated and intelligent with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to see the bigger picture, address challenges rapidly, and be solutions oriented
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal has confidence and presents with conviction
- A desire to work in a team environment
- Relationship building skills with internal and external counterparties
- Ability to effectively communicate with and persuade a wide variety of stakeholders and be adaptable as new information becomes available
- Results-oriented, with the ability to synthesize information and work effectively against competing deadlines
- Strong work ethic genuine passion for excellence
- Picks up concepts quickly exhibits ability to ask the right questions

Expected annual base salary range
Additional compensation Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individuals experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
