The Credit Risk Innovation & Analytics team is a global center of excellence with underwriting, technology, innovation, analytics and reporting responsibilities. The team works in conjunction with senior leaders in Lending Solutions, Product, Technology, Credit Middle Office and Credit Risk to provide global solutions for a diverse portfolio of products and collateral types.
Job summary
As a Strategic Analytics Vice President you will be an integral part of a team that works to enhance, build, and deliver data collection, storage, access, and analytics solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for maintaining critical data pipelines and architectures across multiple risk functions.
The primary focus of this position will be to thoughtfully develop, drive and implement data analytics solutions to support Credit Risk.
Job Responsibilities
- Leading the development and delivery of data solutions to across Wealth Management and Global Private Bank
- Designing and delivering solutions that are flexible and scalable using the firm's approved tools
- Developing data-driven approaches to monitor and proactively identify areas of Credit Risk across our portfolios
- Communicating analytical findings to senior leaders through data visualization and storytelling
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree required in statistics, economics, computer science, OR equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years' Analytics experience or in an adjacent quantitative role
- Experience working with big data sets and strong programming experience with Python and/or SQL and experience in statistical languages (R, SAS, etc.)
- Ability to present findings in a consumable format at all levels including senior leadership
- Experience with big data computing on a public cloud platform (e.g. Spark, AWS) is a plus.
