Overview

T. Rowe Price seeks a Sr. Software Engineer in Baltimore, MD to

  • Create and maintain complex technical solutions and a suite of next-generation, cloud-native applications.
  • Responsible to plan, implement, and develop large-scale, enterprise-level distributed applications in support of Corporate Technology platforms.
  • Contribute to all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, solution design, and application development and deployment of applications to production.
  • Leads a small team of developers, including conducting design and code reviews.

Requirements

  • Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field plus 5+ years of progressively responsible development experience.
  • Requires 5+ years of experience in developing cloud native applications in .net technologies like C#, ASP.net [asp.net] MVC, .net Core and development experience using Agile methodologies.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing microservices and with code management practices (Git) and automated CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or Gitlab CI).
  • 5+ years of experience using and deploying AWS cloud services like S3, ECS, EC2, Fargate, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Lambda and using relational databases like SQL, Oracle, Postgres and developing using entity framework.
  • 3+ years of experience in the development of web applications using Angular / reactJs, HTML, Bootstrap, CSS, JQuery, and Javascript.

FINRA RequirementsFINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.Work FlexibilityThis role is eligible for remote work up to three days a week.
