Description
This position will follow our hybrid work model we expect the selected candidate to be in the office 2-3 days a week at one of the following Corporate Office locations St. Petersburg, FL, Memphis, TN, or Southfield, MI.
Job Summary
Uses extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to provide direction, leadership, and support for a functional area in Operations, which may include multiple sites. This person will assist in setting the strategy for functions and processes in the assigned area and will be responsible for execution. Individuals at this level should have an in-depth understanding of the firm's different businesses and how they contribute to the success of the entire Operations team. Results are evaluated at agreed-upon milestones for effectiveness in achieving specified results. This position will have extensive contact with senior management across Operations as well as different areas of the firm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set goals for functional areas that are in line with the organization's vision and goals.
- Create solutions for identified process improvement areas and work with the management team to implement them.
- Create and monitor annual budgets, making adjustments when necessary.
- Effectively manage, coach, and develop talent build a strong network of qualified leaders.
- Take an active role in creating an environment that fosters a high level of associate engagement.
- Establish internal and external partnership opportunities through analysis of business needs and relationships that may enhance success.

Qualifications
Knowledge of
- Concepts, principles, and practices of assigned functional area.
- Investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry.
- Financial markets and products
- General understanding of margin and the rules governing margin activities
Skill in
- Providing feedback and coaching to help subordinate managers or professional individual contributors excel in current and future job responsibilities.

Education/Previous Experience
- Bachelors degree in a related field. Will typically have at least eight (8) years experience in financial services including a minimum of two (2) years experience in leading diverse operating groups.

- Any equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training approved by Human Resources.
