Job Description

U.S. Bank Corporate Treasury is seeking an experienced analyst for our best-in-class Treasury Data team. This position will be responsible for large scale data implementation and processes improvement surrounding Treasury Regulatory Reporting, particularly the Basel 3 Endgame and FR 2052a. The role will partner closely with multiple areas of Treasury, Finance, and Technology to build and maintain data requirements, streamline data, and implement process improvements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain data requirements for Regulatory Reporting
  • Implement logic changes
  • Advise on data infrastructure and architecture
  • Liaise with partners in Treasury, Management Reporting Ops, and Technology.
  • Identify and escalate and remediate data issues
  • Drive automation and actively seek continuous improvement opportunities
  • Maintain data lineage and governance
  • Integrate Basel 3 Endgame and FR 2052a data and reporting processes with the broader External Reporting environment
  • Implement new regulatory requirements as needed

- Bachelors degree Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, IT, or other related field, or equivalent work experienceBasic Qualificationsd

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Extensive experience with financial data, regulatory risk, or related field
  • Working knowledge of Liquidity regulation, specifically FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR, and ILST
  • Advanced technical skills, particularly with tools such as SQL, Excel, and Tableau
  • Ability to implement complex data and reporting processes
  • Innovative and motivated self-starter that demonstrates intellectual curiosity
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deliver results on aggressive deadlines
  • Understanding of how to create and implement effective and efficient automation
  • Skilled in project management
  • Experience with implementing tools for analyzing and governing very large data sets
  • Experience with execution of large-scale cross functional initiatives and related Risk and technology programs
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate to different stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of the Axiom regulatory reporting system
