The Northern Trust Company seeks a Sr. Consultant, Front Office Analytics to gather and evaluate investment performance data against appropriate benchmarks and communicate investment performance results to clients. Conduct portfolio analysis and manage the delivery of service to clients. Analyze portfolio market risk including scenario analysis, stress testing, and value at risk. Monitor portfolios against exposure, liquidity, risk, and regulatory limits. Utilize Python to create new analytics, limit calculations, and internal process automation. Drive tactical design decisions for strategic projects and client implementation. #LI-DNI
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and 3 years of employment experience with solving complex financial and accounting issues for portfolio deals and client events. Employment experience must include a minimum of 3 years of experience reconciling valuations for various financial instruments and conducting financial data analytics 3 years of experience managing delivery of service and production of reporting and 3 years of experience interacting with clients and communicating investment performance results to clients. Academic or employment experience must include risk management and Python. Part time telecommuting may be permitted. #LI-DNI
