Summary
You will work with Northern Trust's Technology Risk and Control team to support the regular operations of the Technology Risk & Control Issue Management program. You will support the development of materials for presentation to executive Technology leadership, including interacting with partners across Technology to obtain updates on risk related remediation projects, running reports, creating/validating key data, and deriving risk-based insights on the data to prompt actions by leadership. You will also support the lifecycle of process management from brainstorming requirements to developing solutions, to creating
communication/training
You will be part of a dedicated and outstanding team that focuses on promoting control awareness and properly managing risks within the global information technology organization.
Responsibilities
Work with the Issue Management team to
Prepare executive level meeting materials with charts and
insightful/actionable
Your Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent presentation skills (PowerPoint presentations for executive management etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Significant experience in identifying issues and tracking their remediation
- Significant experience in project management (Azure DevOps a plus)
- Adequate understanding on various technology standards and frameworks (NIST/ISO/FFIEC etc.)
- In-depth understanding of information security, risk assessments, security risk management principles
- Strong collaboration and relationship management skills, including experiences in executive management relations
Your Employment Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- At least 3 or more years of experiences in managing projects related to technology risk, control functions, audit services experience
- Experience with big4 accounting firms is preferrable
