What Youll Do

We're looking for a Senior Associate Accountant to join our Benefits & Protection Accounting team. In this role, you'll work on accounting tasks related to Individual withholding and Group Disability claims!

  • Daily balancing and monthly reconciliations
  • Provide customer service via call center calls and email regarding disability claims, taxes, and annual services. Along with others on the team, you will have heavy call volumes 1-2 months out of the year
  • System error research and corrections

Who You Are

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience required
  • 2+ years relevant experience preferred
  • Proven analytical, problem solving, and time management skills

Hours

This role does require rotating shifts working on phone coverage. There are times that this role will require work hours to be between 8AM-4PM Central Standard Time Zone.

Work Environments

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
