Under general supervision, the senior analyst will be responsible for ensuring the bank is compliant with various sanctions laws and regulations globally. Reviews complex sanctions escalations and provides research, analysis, and final disposition. Provides sanctions assurance and advisory to business units operating within the bank, including periodic sanctions training for business units with sanctions exposure. Participates in the ongoing review and development of the sanctions compliance program.

Major Duties

  • Carries out relatively complex analysis of sanctions escalations within the bank.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Conducts quality control reviews of sanctions alerts dispositioned by second level review team.
  • Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and provide assurance and advisory related to sanctions issues escalated from business units within the bank.
  • Creates and presents material related to sanctions compliance matters.

Experience

3+ years of relevant experience required.

CAMS or CGSS certification preferred but not required
