Sr Account Manager, Wealth Management Advisory
The partner will support the Sr Fiduciary Officer and assists Wealth Management Trust Advisors with client requests, meetings, and assisting with preparation for client presentations. Responsible for coordinating account administration of complex fiduciary, investment management, estate settlement, and/or custody accounts. This partner establishes and maintains the account, responds to client inquiries, produces action plans and reports, and oversees transaction processing in coordination with the Client Support Services Team.
Develops and maintains working knowledge of governing documents and account agreements.
Receives service requests from clients and partners, and communicates to service partners obtains appropriate information from partners and clients to facilitate service changes or transactions.
Oversees development of appropriate action plans for client servicing events and ensures execution and follow-up communicates with clients regularly to inform them of account set-up or status, document requests, or other information.
Assists Trust Advisors in all account acceptance and closing processes analyzing and drafting discretionary distribution and other discretionary acts procedures, compliance management and annual account review process ensures appropriate documentation is collected and imaged ensures systems information is up-to-date ensures accurate set-up and review of funding and account fees.
Manage accounts in accordance with fundamental fiduciary duties and responsibilities, considering legal requirements, terms of the documents, NT policies & procedures, assessment of fiduciary and business risk, client needs and Trust & Advisory resources. Successfully initiate or execute directed account and client activity as requested within appropriate time frames.
Coordinate with team and other support areas all account set-ups, fees, distributions, and ongoing account activity. Assist Trust Advisors and Portfolio Managers in monitoring account transactions and overdrafts in accordance with fiduciary policy guidelines. Identify and promote internal process improvements.
Exhibit appropriate account management. Monitor daily overdraft reports and cash balances and work with trust or client advisor and investment partners to prevent overdrafts. Respond to all Account Review Exceptions reports on a timely basis. Address and inform all risk, compliance, and ethical issues in a prompt manner to Management. Practice comprehensive file management, as prescribed by Wealth Management U.S. Administrative Procedures and Guidelines, ensuring all documentation relative to administration is appropriately imaged and archived and that all relevant system records are maintained.
Develops and maintains a working knowledge of various business applications critical to relationship management including client on-line tools.
Able to serve as a key subject-matter expert and mentor to other more junior-level partners.
Delivers a work product that requires less revision, while facilitating discussions and reach decisions.
Qualifications
- A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred
- 5-7 years' experience in financial servicing or related
- experience/credentials
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge of Trust, Estate, and Advisory services and products, usually acquired through related work experience, is required
- Knowledge of internal bank trust functions is required
- Analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills are required
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change
- Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Partner Workstation/Sales Force,) is required
