The Data Management Function is responsible for Data Governance, Data Quality and Data Analytics for Portfolio Accounting Data Services which includes Custody Accounting Book of Record (CaBOR) and Investment Book of Record (IBOR).

Major Duties
- Leads others to solve complex problems
- Uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions
- Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives
- Responsible for creating and maintaining the data architecture, which includes the data models, schemas, standards, and policies that define how data is stored, processed, and used.
- Design and implement data integration, transformation, and migration processes to ensure that data from different sources and formats can be consolidated, cleaned, and harmonized.
- Ensure that the data is accurate, consistent, and reliable. Perform data quality audits, validations, and corrections to identify and resolve any data errors, anomalies, or inconsistencies.
- Implement data security measures, such as encryption, authentication, and authorization, to protect data from unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure. Furthermore, monitor and enforce data governance policies and procedures, such as data ownership, classification, retention, and disposal, to comply with legal and ethical requirements and standards.
- Facilitates the access and analysis of data by various stakeholders in an organization.
- Create and maintain data catalogs, dictionaries, or metadata, which are documents that describe the data sources, structures, definitions, and meanings.

- Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
- Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view
- Experience
- May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity
- Technical skills include proficiency in data modeling, database design, and SQL knowledge of data integration, transformation, and migration tools and techniques familiarity with data quality, security, and governance principles and practices experience with data warehouse, data lake, or data mart architectures and technologies and the ability to use data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools and software.
- Business skills needed include communication and collaboration skills to work with different stakeholders and teams analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data issues and challenges project management and organizational skills to plan and execute data projects and tasks as well as business acumen.
- A combination of technical and business skills and qualifications is essential. and domain knowledge to understand the data needs of the organization.
- A bachelors degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field is essential
- Credentials such as the Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or the Data Management Association (DAMA) International.
