Digitization and Workflow Engineering
In Digitization and Workflow Engineering we provide firmwide platforms that help business divisions to automate business use cases using no-code, low-code, and orchestrations tooling. Clients around the world use our tooling to reduce their time to market. We provide tools to create user interfaces, define workflows visually to orchestrate microservices and manual tasks, and other platforms and tooling to deal with decision modeling and execution, business exception management, email categorization/action-automation, RPA tooling and more. Within Digitization and Workflow Engineering, we have a group of products / platforms aimed at enabling automation and digitization for Citizen Developers and Business Users called no-code/low-code platforms.
As part of this team called No-code/Low-code platforms, you will be responsible for
- Develop, maintain, and support Workflow Core platform components and tools using Java 21, Spring Boot 3 framework, and other related technologies like React, Angular, Kafka, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, BPMN, etc.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality software development.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development practices and technology stacks.
- Work collaboratively with other engineers to continuously improve development practices, standards, and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns
- At least 3 years of commercial experience in Java development and related technologies (Spring, JPA, etc.) to build microservice backends.
- Experience with distributed computing and web services (RESTful, GRPC)
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, etc.)
- Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Angular)
- Experience in SDLC and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in event-based architectures and messaging solutions is a plus.
- Experience in software modeling tools like UML or BPMN is a plus.
- Experience with Orchestration systems like K8s and cloud experience is a plus.
- Experience working in the financial industry is a plus.
