Job summary

As a Software Engineer I at JPMorgan Chase within the Workforce Technology Team, specifically the Employee Platforms Team, you will be part of an agile group responsible for enhancing, designing, optimizing, and delivering the Oracle HCM application of a SaaS product. This role is crucial in ensuring a secure, stable, and scalable product to improve the employee experience. As a developing member of this software engineering team, you will implement solutions through SaaS product knowledge, proof of concept, design, and troubleshooting of multiple components within a SaaS Product, application, or system. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain the necessary skills and experience for growth within your role.

Job responsibilities

  • Maintain business processes (e.g. configuration documents, JIRA practices, SR tracking, etc.)
  • Use Oracle HCM Experience with ORC / Oracle digital supportance desired
  • Oracle OTBI and HDL/HSDL experience is desired
  • Provide clear and concise communication and respond in a timely manner
  • Ensure security and release process are followed, reduce risk
  • Protect and ensure data privacy and regulations are maintained
  • Actively apply lessons learned and acquired knowledge to limit PROD defects and collaborate with Oracle on Service Requests, Customer connect, etc
  • Review Oracle release notes in advance and conducts impact analysis
  • Meet design deliverables and deadlines, consistent follow through and working independently (self-starter)
  • Complete functional testing of the enhancements (reducing / minimizing defects)
  • Have the ability to quickly problem solve and get to root cause

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals

  • At least 1 years of experience in Oracle OTBI and HDL/HSDL.

  • Exposure to Oracle HCM
  • Btech background preferred
