Job Purpose
The Senior Vice President/Managing Director for Infrastructure will be one of PFG's most senior members and report to and work closely with GCG leadership. The main focus of the role being the support of the infrastructure fundraising lifecycle, ensuring all stakeholders in the organization contribute their expertise into the design of the fundraising strategy and coordination of all stakeholder groups in delivering their respective roles throughout each stage of the lifecycle. Job Description
- Proactively monitor and tactically adapt and adjust the strategy as circumstances change
- Lead the open ended Infrastructure Fundraise Management team in all stages of the fundraising life cycle, collaborating with internal functional partners and business group leads as well as interfacing investors and external advisors.
- Develop and implement strategy for generating investor interest and driving momentum to meet quarterly and annual fundraising objectives
- Be the primary point of contact for the investment teams in providing messaging on fundraising strategy and in keeping them fully apprised of fundraising status and progress
- Facilitate key decisions throughout fundraise process with all stakeholder groups.
- Create a stakeholder management strategy primarily with Diligence Management, Marketing & Content, Client Relationship Management, Investor Relations, Legal, Compliance, Finance & Operations and the Investment Teams
- Pro-actively create and manage fundraising strategy and fund-specific marketing materials, including offering memoranda, investor presentations, case studies, fact sheets and other documents related to private funds
- Coordinate road shows, conferences, diligence sessions, and investor meetings
- Act as senior representative in PFG leadership meetings, as required
- Build, support, and manage the Fundraise Management team through all stages of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, learning and development, performance management and compensation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for the development and retention of junior team members, creating and promoting effective training programs for new team members.
- Identify issues and proactively manage risk
Qualifications Required
Post graduate degree in finance, business management or another relevant discipline
Experience Required
- 12+ years of experience in fundraising for private fund strategies, including open ended funds
- Demonstrated understanding of the LP landscape and preferences, styles and requirements across key regions and investor types
- Strong strategy/product knowledge and ability to communicate (internally) details of fund approach
- Strong investment and financial analytical capabilities and investment reporting experience.
- Strong global team management experience
- Experience in high volume processes and technology enabled solutions
- Strong strategy and product knowledge of the Infrastructure asset class as well as the ability to communicate (internally) details of fund approach.
- Experience in Infrastructure strongly preferred.
