Job Description
This role is Hybrid - 3 days a week and 2 days remote in either Minneapolis, MN or Charlotte, NCThe Technology Business Line Control Analyst (BLCA) role is critical to cultivating a well-controlled technology environment and maintaining a useful and informative control inventory that helps to support core risk management processes.Partners with their assigned Line of Business, other Risk/Compliance/Audit (RCA) professionals, and RCA Managers to, depending on their function, create, implement, maintain, review or oversee an effective risk management framework. Participates in projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Identifies gaps and inform solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors. Identifies, responds and/or escalates risks as appropriate. Serves as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Technology Leaders, Control Owners, and Risk Managers to identify and document technology risks in-scope for Technology assets and business areas.
- Establish processes to articulate the organization's effectiveness at addressing specific technology risks.
- Execute control documentation changes in alignment with Technology standards and expectations, and provide expertise on the design, implementation, and relevance of controls.
- Support and facilitate the Process and Control Attestation process alongside control owners for Technology process areas.
- Support the Issue Management process by recommending control renovation based on identified Issues.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience
- 5 or more years of applicable experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- At least one relevant certification, such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, etc.
- Experience designing, auditing, or implementing controls.
- Strong knowledge of risk management and control design concepts.
- Experience building and implementing processes.
- Ability to diagnose a control gap and recommend a possible solution.
- Knowledge of technology and cloud fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry frameworks.
- High level of discipline and organization.
- Strong written and grammatical skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak confidently to senior management.
- Systems-oriented thinking the ability to think big picture.
- Desire to self-improve and continuously learn.
- Understanding of basic concepts of business management, including cost benefit analysis and other forms of business sense.
