The opportunity
The Sr. Software Quality Analyst will support operation goals and objectives by working closely with team leads, business system analysts, software developers and business stakeholders to review use cases and develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure application development meets business requirements. In addition, they will guide and assist business users and guide them to complete the user acceptance testing process.
How you will contribute
- Analyze the testing requirement and develop test plan or test cases, develop test strategies with accurate test estimations.
- Well versed in creation of automation of test script for re-usability.
- Develop and execute test scripts using manual and automated testing as specified by SL-DQ standards.
- Document, communicate, and work to resolve all defects found during testing.
- Seek team and stakeholder feedback on all test plans and test cases.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and research application/system issues as required and propose solutions to problems provide resolution in a timely and accurate way, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure defects are entered within the DentaQuest Enterprise Defect Tracking System with an appropriate sense of urgency and monitor/track progress through resolution.
- Facilitate communications and/or meetings as needed to ensure all information has been received, content understood, and any additional information needed has been provided.
- Participate in all required meetings to gain additional requirement knowledge, confirm current state of project, and stay apprised of any changes being made.
- Create reusable test plans and test case templates and processes as needed.
- Adhere to the QA standard process and ensure QA completes delivery within the estimated timeline.
- Must understand DQ's business practices and the applications/systems that support them.
- Prepare documentation using tools such as Visio, Word and Excel
What you will bring with you
Required
- BS or equivalent and 10+ years work experience in computer sciences or related field, or equivalent combination
- Minimum 4 years using automation tools, postman.
- Proficiency with general office productivity software
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately in a business context including verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational and public speaking.
- Ability to work in a team setting including problem-solving, communication, and strong decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, result-driven environment.
- Excellent analytical skills, as well as accuracy and attention to details
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Required to provide off-hour support during prod deployment and troubleshooting production issues.
- Required to attend additional training as requested/deemed necessary.
Preferred
- 5+ years of healthcare domain experience, preferably an integrated healthcare organization.
- Any certification on SQA related (CSTE, CQA)

- Southern region $103,900 - $155,900 annually
- Central region $109,600 - $164,400 annually
- Northern region $117,100 - $175,700 annually
If you are a Colorado resident, the salary range for this position is $99,200 - $148,800 annually.
If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $117,100 - $175,700 annually.
If you are Washington resident, the salary range for this position is $109,600 - $164,400 annually.
