What is the opportunity?

As part of a dynamic and high functioning recruitment team, you will leverage your consultative approach to managethe full life cycle recruitment process fordesignatedbusiness lines as assignedacross RBCs U.S. Capital Markets business. You will use your keen interviewing skillstoassess talentin order toproviderecommendations to managers on best fit. As a Senior Recruiter you will develop a solid understanding of the business and build strong relationships with managers, candidates and HR Partners. The recruiter is responsible for managing the recruitment and selection process of qualified exempt employees, partnering with assigned business area to define requirements of an open position and to identify appropriate candidate profile. This position manages the hiring process to hire the best-qualified candidates having a direct impact on retention.

What will you do?

  • Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) for the business throughout the recruitment cycle providing consultative recruitment support. Coaching and influencing managers on final candidate selection, compensation packages, etc.
  • Develops and maintains working relationships with hiring managers and HR partners to understand current and future recruitment needs and determines optimum sourcing strategies.
  • Performs full lifecycle recruiting including sourcing/screening/ presenting candidates/recommending compensation packages/negotiating compensation/declining candidates, etc.
  • Develops cost effective, efficient, creative and innovative solutions to sourcing challenges.
  • Generates candidate flow through a variety of sourcing channels such as LinkedIn, employee referrals and database mining.
  • Sources and maintains a pipeline of candidates that align to assigned business areas including sourcing diverse candidates & leveraging diverse candidate pipelines.
  • Educates, consults and transfers knowledge of recruiting processes, diversity recruitment, interviewing skills and regulatory requirements to hiring managers.
  • Participate in special projects as required.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Prior financial services recruiting experience
  • 6 or more years of full cycle recruiting, delivering recruitment services and managing relationships with hiring managers of all levels.
  • Project and Program management skills
  • Reputation for relationship building and influencing others through a consultative approach
  • Established sense of urgency and responsiveness, prioritizing and managing multiple tasks
  • Prior experience with OFCCP related recruiting practices
  • Working knowledge in employment law

Nice-to-have

  • Workday experience
  • Corporate/in-house recruiting
  • Understanding of high-volume recruiting
  • Prior experience in a large multi-national/global organization

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $110,000 - $190,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status market conditions and business needs.This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance and paid time-off plan.
