WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The candidate will work as part of Data Fabric team to support and further mature the agile delivery of various initiatives in Data Fabric across multiple delivery teams. In this role you will lead and facilitate agile processes for two or more scrum teams. You will provide guidance and support the teams in achieving their goals, optimizing their productivity, and improving their overall performance.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Effective management of overall project deliverables.
- Facilitate agile events, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint review, and retrospectives.
- Oversee Financials and Resources to meet the delivery.
- Collaboration with QTS/Enterprise teams in delivering various initiatives in a demanding and complex environment.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement among team members.
- Work with the Product Owner and stakeholders to prioritize and groom the product backlog.
- Coach and mentor team members on agile principles, practices, and values.
- Monitor and communicate team progress, status, and impediments to management and other stakeholders.
- Promote and support DevOps practices to ensure a smooth and efficient development and deployment process.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches across the organization to share best practices and improve overall Agile adoption.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to Cloud Architecture and Agile development.
- Collaborate with Project managers across QTS and Enterprise in delivering the DataFabric mandate,
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have
- 8+ years of Project Management experience in managing multiple projects.
- 5+ years of experience in managing Data Ingestion/Data Platform/Data Services Projects.
- Scrum management for multiple scrum teams.
- Experience in planning and managing multiple initiatives across various streams.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team towards achieving their goals.
- Knowledge of Change/Issue/Risk management with working knowledge of Agile and SDLC life cycle.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of data lifecycle management, data security and access management, or cloud architecture principles and technologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Nice-to-have
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification.
- Data Services, Cloud migration knowledge is a plus.
- Experience working in a financial institution or other highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
- Project Management skills in handling major projects.
