Design and develop the project management consulting service offerings - the topics consulted on with business project managers. Identify materials needed to support the consultant in the delivery of the service. Identify materials that will be used and shared with business project managers, such as templates and golden samples. Test the delivery of the consulting service with current projects. Track and assess learnings and feedback to determine changes needed to the service. Incorporate changes. Determine how to prepare other Program and Field Implementation project managers to effectively deliver consulting support to AWM business partners.
50% developing, testing and operationalizing a project management consulting service
Support business project managers to ensure their successful leadership of AWM projects to meet project scope, schedule and cost objectives. Educate, review and provide feedback on project manager deliverables throughout project lifecycle (e.g., governance structure, project planning and financials, RAIDQ). Conduct a post project review assessing effectiveness of consulting service.
50% Deliver project management consulting support for AWM projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 7 to 10 years relevant experience.
- Expert level understanding of business functional areas, business management issues and organizational systems and capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and to effectively manage within it.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills including executive level presentations.
- Successful track record of delivering projects that meet business objectives as well as time, budget and quality guidelines.
