In this key IT leadership role withinthe
u will be responsible for managing WMTS Infrastructure and Platform components and leading a team to provision, support, and be responsible for the safety and soundness of the entire platform for the group.
You will be working with several teams such as Development, QA, Operation and Maintenance, and PM teams to fulfill the mandate.
What will you do?
- Manage the Data and Integration Platform team under Wealth Management Technology & Solutions
- Work with the architecture team to provide strategies, directions, and a roadmap for WMTS Data Platforms and Infrastructure
- Lead and manage WMTS Data Platform initiatives (E.g. OS/DB upgrade and patching, Platform migration, security issue remediation).
- Promote and establish RBC best practices, standards, and guidelines.
- Establish and support an onshore/offshore support model within the team
Must-have
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience managing and supporting in core infrastructure (i.e. Windows, Linux), database technology (i.e. SQL) , and cloud computing and container platforms (i.e. OCP, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS)

- Understand high availability in system design as it relates to
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in infrastructure platforms including Linux/Windows Servers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
People Management skills
- People management skills are needed for this role.
- Ability to manage, mentor, and lead a team of highly qualified technical team members.
Nice-to-have
- Business domain understanding of Wealth-Management
- Data Management Knowledge including data ingestion, data storage, and data consumption.
- Experience with distributed DB systems
- Development experience is an asset.
