Job Description
Responsible for developing and implementing information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with the organizations overall risk management strategy. This includes conducting risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to the organizations information systems, networks, and data. Requires regular monitoring and reporting of compliance with established policies and procedures, as well as ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of potential risks and compliance requirements. Oversees the implementation of security controls and technologies to protect the organizations information assets, including data encryption, access controls, and intrusion detection and prevention systems. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop incident response plans and procedures to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.Preferred Skills/Experience
- risk analysis/assessment - identifying mitigating controls, evaluating efficacy, and determining residual risk
- cloud security knowledge - azure &/or AWS specifically
- professional presence - the ability to speak to technical and non-technical concepts to leadership, ask a leadership delegate in various discussions, etc.
