Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) provides financial services to 21 million retail bank households and three million small business customers through approximately 4,500 retail branches, 17 customer service centers, and approximately 13,000 ATMs in 36 states and the District of Columbia. About this role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Data Product Integrity Specialist who will be part of Consumer Data, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (CDAI), Data Quality (DQ) team to execute DQ controls to ensure upstream processes and controls have been executed according to procedure and properly evidenced. The DQ will utilize test scripts to evaluate controls and record performance metrics in a tracking tool. The primary objective is to test random samples to ensure accuracy of work processed, while also providing defect feedback to the line of business. Reporting is provided monthly to the line of business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct moderately complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps.
  • Adhere to data governance standards and procedures.
  • Implement data quality rules, identify data quality metrics and execute data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality.
  • Monitor data governance, data quality and metadata policies, standards, tools, processes or procedures to ensure data control and remediation for data management functions.
  • Support communications with basic documentation related to requirements, data quality rule implementation, or remediation updates.
  • Support DQ remediation by performing basic data profiling, data or business analysis as part of root cause or impact analysis.
  • Provide support to reporting requirements.
  • Work with business and technology partners or subject matter professionals to document or maintain business or technical metadata about systems, business or data elements, or data-related controls.
  • Hands on Anomaly detection.
  • Data Cleansing, Manipulation and Analysis.
  • Good Analytics and problem-solving skills.
  • Propose solutions and strategies to business challenge.
  • May supervise and manage day-to-day work of junior team members. Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members

Essential Qualifications

  • Financial industry experience preferred.
  • 8+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 5+ years of experience with Metadata/Data dictionaries management including technical/business content and data lineage, Data Quality Assessments.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills with eye for details.
