Description

Performs analysis supporting the strategies and objectives of the business line and provides recommendations into technology solutions based on research and knowledge of the industry. Provides dedicated technology and operations support to the various Wealth Management and Investment Services businesses, including domestic and global securities services, client reporting, fee processing, cash services, technology and systems support and mutual fund custody administration. Acts as a liaison for project releases, and provides leadership and coordination of business readiness tasks, requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and implementations. Interfaces with clients to ensure the successful completion, installation and implementation in accordance with client needs.

We are seeking a motivated Senior Business Technology Analyst with business analysis and project management experience to contribute toward the success of our business technology initiatives. Responsible for elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business and functional requirements. May provide project management and planning activities for some projects. Develops and executes test plans to ensure successful delivery of a project. Serves as a business technology subject matter expert for assigned functional applications to assist business lines with analysis, development, and ongoing support. Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful completion, installation, and implementation in accordance with stakeholder needs. Frequently interfaces with business lines, including management, and/or internal resources to ensure quality, timeliness, and testing of all project/release work. Participates in developing and maintaining detailed knowledge of the businesss current technology and infrastructure from a functional perspective as well as operational processes. Acts as a liaison between technical development teams and internal business line stakeholders. Acts as a Business Readiness Lead, develops readiness plans, manages readiness tasks, escalates as needed and reports on status.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience

- Five to eight years of direct experience with business analysis and project management responsibilities in the financial services industry

Required Skills/Experience

- Ability to conduct an analysis of business needs, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting, and making verbal and written presentations

- Strong understanding and use of project management techniques and testing processes and supervises their use

- Business process modeling experience

- Ability to develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test results

- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

- Strong project management, organization, problem solving, and analytical skills

- Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills

- Strong leadership and negotiation skills

- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously with limited supervision.

- Experience in the financial services or Wealth Management industry

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means theres an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
