Job Description

The Global Client Group (GCG) is Dimensional's distribution arm, comprising sales channels that target a diverse client set. By putting the client first, we strive to transform the way the world invests, and our solutions are a testament to the value provided to our clients.GCG is responsible for developing new business relationships as well as managing current relationships with our global clients. We take the time to understand clients' evolving needs, identifying where we can add value and collaborating to provide a better investment experience.

Our Retirement and Insurance Distribution team is responsible for working with insurance companies, retirement providers and financial advisors across the country. Reporting to a Client Service Manager, the Senior Associate will be an integral member of the Retirement and Insurance Distribution relationship management team and will support business development and client retention activities for various prospects and clients. With proven success, the Senior Associate will have the opportunity to work directly with clients, prospects and intermediaries to develop and expand Dimensionals client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Articulate Dimensionals investment philosophy and strategies to our clients and prospective clients
  • Lead, develop and conduct industry-specific research to advance sales ideas in support of marketing campaigns
  • Address client inquiries by evaluating client-specific circumstances while gathering information across departments to address client requests
  • Interact with Regional Directors on client related issues
  • Develop strong business and personal relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Develop and deliver complex and educational investment presentations for various types of client and prospect meetings
  • Assist Regional Directors with business objectives and goals
  • Mentor less experienced associates
  • Identify and propose solutions to address client needs
  • Generate ideas for new business opportunities
  • Develop a robust understanding of the institutional industry and related business practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • MBA and/or CFA preferred
  • 5 plus years experience in the Financial Services/Investment industry
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive desire to learn
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Self-starter who is capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Strong computer skills (Excel and Access) with ability to learn programs as needed
  • SIE (Securities Industry Essentials), Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses required SIE and Series 7 must be obtained within the first 12 weeks of hire as a condition of employment
