Our General Offices are divided up among four Zones. In addition to our Zone offices, an Agency Home Office team responsible for strategy, finance, administration, standards, training, marketing, and communications supports our agents and field managers. The Agency operation also comprises teams charged with growing our business in key market segments, including the middle-income market, the advanced (high-net-worth) market and select cultural markets. Agents sell individual life insurance, individual annuities, and long-term care insurance products, as well as mutual funds.
Role Overview
- Design and develop emerging learning solutions for Field Management & Leadership Development Programs including but not limited to Management Orientation, Associate Partner, Partner Development, Partner Promotion, Managing Partner Onboarding, Leadership Advancement and Leadership Residency
- Evolve existing learning experience assess and translate needs, and recommend optimal learning solutions acknowledging modernization opportunities around content and media assets, engagement and interactivity and knowledge and skill development
- Build, create, design, write and technically develop new learning experiences in support of field management and leadership competencies, business deliverables/objectives & performance goals (ILT, vILT, eLearning, video, microlearning, classroom training, job aids/performance support, game-based learning, scenario-based learning, etc.)
- Accept responsibility for eLearning development stages content analysis, storyboard development, prototype development, course submission and measurement/optimization
- Create and/or convert content into a visual, multimedia experience, leveraging graphics, motion graphics, audio, and visual design skills, for delivery and distribution at program workshops, conferences, meetings and via NYLIC University
- Build partnerships and cross-functionally collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, learners, and third-party providers/vendors in designing learning experiences [provide strategic direction for design and production conducted by internal/external providers
- Manage budgeting and third-party provider/vendor relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience
- Experienced with building, delivering, and implementing blended learning solutions (PPT, Prezi, Facilitator Guides, Scavenger Hunt Apps, QuickMobile/Cvent, etc.)
- Experienced using a variety of authoring tools (Adobe Creative Cloud Apps, Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia, Poll Everywhere, etc.)
- Ability to create animated, drawn, and realistic videos (Prezi next, Vyond, Camtasia, Video Scribe, Aframe, Prezi next)
- Strong written and communication skills
- Requires conceptual and innovative thinking
- Demonstrates proficiencies in project management
- Exhibits a high degree of decision making and independence
- Financial Services and Field Development/Training experience preferred
