Job Summary

The Finance Innovation and Technology Solutions Team drives efficiency, consistency and transformation within the Accounting and Finance department. The team leverages specialized knowledge and skills obtained through experience and education to provide support for the accounting and regulatory applications. Lead projects and processes impacting multiple business units by establishing the requirements to meet the financial reporting and system needs. Work closely with the Information Technology department and act as a liaison to the business areas and internal clients. Champion and oversee process improvements related to business technology solutions, many having significant financial impact on the entire company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage multiple large, high priority and complex projects with significant impact on the business processes or financials

Demonstrate ability to work closely with management to achieve the organization's financial, regulatory and management reporting objectives

Consult and collaborate with the Accounting and Finance department to identify opportunities for process improvements and develop a plan to implement the procedure

Coordinate and manage the testing of patches, fixes, and upgrades to systems through standard testing path of Development, QA, and Production, while working with impacted business users

Support, maintain and troubleshoot complex issues related to the financial applications and administers the primary software systems for the business area

Demonstrate proficiency in 1-2 business systems to address technical requests by super users and the technology team

Closely collaborate with the Information Technology department

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for the process improvements and implement transformation change to create efficiency

Lead requirements gathering, project plan preparation, user acceptance testing, documentation, and implementation

Implement processes to review adequate internal controls and procedures are followed for financial, regulatory and management reporting

Develop complex reporting for the business area while leveraging modern reporting and analytics tools

Coach and train junior associates and interns with the focus on developing the entire team overall

Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with a positive attitude when implementing new processes or controls to the users

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of

Principles, practices, and procedures of Accounting and Financial Reporting systems and processes

Project Management processes and procedures

Business improvement processes and procedures

System requirements, design, testing and implementation

Skill in

Operate standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and databases at an intermediate level

Robust data analytics and reporting

Strong analytical skills to recognize and detect errors and correct/offer resolution

Prepare written and oral presentations to high level management

Design and implement technology solutions to address business need

Provide systems and administrative support for end users

Translating broad concepts into specific actions and related success measures

Strong detail-orientation

Ability to

Plan, organize, manage, and track multiple detailed work assignments with constantly changing priorities and close deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

Constructively work under stress and pressure and produce a high volume of assignments using strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements

Education/Previous Experience

Accounting / Finance knowledge required

Financial reporting and analytics experience required

OneStream / Hyperion experience or other financial systems experience preferred

Bachelor's degree with technical or business specification and three (3) to five (5) years' experiences including any combination of the following systems administration, technical customer support, business application administration,project management,business process consulting, software upgrade/implementation, technical analysis, general finance or accounting
