Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily/monthly quality control (QC) reviews, managing portfolio valuation workflow, day-to-day operational accounting activities, and problem resolution.
  • Ensuring accounts are signed off by upstream teams and published as per defined SLA's.
  • Reconciliation of IBOR (Investment Book of Record) data with ABOR (Accounting Book of Record) custodian/administrator data on specified accounts.
  • Oversight and monitoring of term loan accrual and payments in Aladdin system.
  • Maintenance and over-sight of tax withholding tables in Aladdin system.
  • Assist and provide timely response to issues/inquiries from internal functional teams and/or external clients, including Auditors, Front Office, Client Reporting, Middle Office, Third Party Administrators, etc.
  • Complete retention of records, work, and other information, following established procedures and policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Cross-train with team members on account deliverables and provide back-up as needed.
  • Recognize control gaps and process improvement opportunities to streamline operations.
  • Provide coaching, training & support to analysts on large set of complex funds.

Required Qualification

  • The incumbent should (at least) be an MBA (primarily in Finance/ Accounts) with min 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Need knowledge in Accounting & Capital market/Investment products.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Should have problem solving, planning and analytical skills to facilitate and focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Should have strong results orientation, collaboration and co-ordination abilities.
  • Must have good MS office skills viz. MS Excel, word, PPT, share point etc.
  • Knowledge of Investment tools/systems like accounting system Aladdin, research tool (Bloomberg), navigating custodian sites will be an added advantage.
  • Must have good communication skills (written / oral), interpersonal skills and be an effective team player.
