Job Description

About the role

To support the team in delivering financial and management reporting for Private Funds including Brookfield Premier Real Estate Partners Australia, (BPREPA), on a timely basis. In addition, to ensure day to day accounting and operations and compliance obligations are met and to work with other teams such as Portfolio Management and Investor Relations to ensure business objectives are met.

Responsible for

Financial and Management Reporting

Assist in the preparation of

  • Investor quarterly reporting.
  • Quarterly unaudited financial statements.
  • Annual audited financial statements.
  • Capital statements.
  • Distribution notices

Management and compliance reporting

Assist in the preparation of

  • Reporting of management fees, incentive fees and capital to Brookfield corporate entities
  • Affiliate reporting.
  • SEC (US) reporting.
  • European regulator reporting.

Other

Assist in

  • Validating quarter end results
  • Distribution calculations for BPREPA.
  • Calculation of time weighted returns.
  • Calculation of IRR for investors.
  • Daily operations e.g. bank instructions and invoices.
  • Work with administrator to facilitate reporting outcomes.
  • Complete ad hoc queries.

About you

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • Professional Accounting Qualification (CPA / CA)
  • Minimum 3 years in a financial/accounting role
  • Have advanced excel skills including being able to understand financial models and templates.
  • Strong presentation skills - verbal and written.
  • Able to work to deadlines and manage a number of competing priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Able to learn and apply learnings.
