PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The main purpose of this role is to provide general business management support and consultation to the U.S. Intermediaries (USI) organization.

cross-functional/segment
governance/prioritization
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Management Support & Consultation
- Ensure effective execution of USI segment and functional routines and governance
- Ensure functional needs of sales, client service, and marketing are considered within broader business context
- Support management of strategy, budget, best practices, facilities, and headcount
- Act as point of contact for Business Management support for USI segments and functions, as well as key partners (Finance, Procurement, Global Sales Management, etc.)
- Produce professional grade presentations and business intelligence for senior management
Lead initiatives to continually improve processes in USI
- Proactively identify gaps in business process, facilitate generation of ideas/solutions/best practices to close gaps in processes and controls
- Design/Improve processes that are effective in achieving business outcomes
- Develop implementation plans that ensure effective deployment of process changes
- Ensure clarity of process change and business readiness to adopt change.
- Ensure an effective business as usual model exists to support the process change on an on-going basis.
- Approach tasks and ideas with an art of the possible' mindset
Provides support to the USI General Management team on miscellaneous topics including, but not limited to
- Development of either durable or ad-hoc reporting/dashboards to drive business insight
- Internal and external data, financial reporting and forecasting, and insight generation
- Pricing inquiries (Relationship Pricing, transitional fee credits, IMAs, etc.)
- Financial inquiries and updates (ex. hiring dates, invoices, etc.)
- Qualitative, quantitative and design input on decks, reports, etc.
- Review and QA on high profile reporting outputs (ex. MC updates, budget submissions, etc.) sent to senior stakeholder including management committee
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Preferred
- Experience in financial services, corporate strategy and/or management consulting with investment management focus
- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation
- Strong relationship management skills and customer orientation with a demonstrated ability to build credible relationships within business unit, and across the organization.
- Proven project management experience with a business perspective and strong process orientation with a history of delivering results
- Strong Influencing and negotiation skills (preferably across geographies)
- Ability to self-start and leverage resources to find solutions to problems
- Ability to manage time and shifting priorities effectively while in a challenging operating environment, and under minimal guidance
- Investment/product knowledge
- Ability to act proactively
- Strong teamwork skills
- Strong analytical skills with keen instinct on how to gather meaningful data and synthesize it to represent a story
- Prior experience working as an analyst, marketing, or consulting capacity within the investment management industry
- Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Power BI / Power Query and Power Point
- MBA
- 4 + years of experience in financial services, corporate strategy and/or management consulting with investment management focus preferred
FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
