Key Responsibilities

Engage in sales activity using product and process knowledge to increase advisor sales in securities based lending, home lending, credit cards, personal trust services, deposits and other products/services as directed. This activity is conducted through proactive outbound calls and incoming calls from advisors, leaders and employees.

Assist advisors in identifying clients that have the need for strategic cash and liquidity management assistance, credit solutions and personal trust services.

Educate field leaders and advisors on comprehensive Banking and Cash Solution set. Provide end to end education from product benefits to application process and/or client experience. Training delivered via multiple channels including teleconference, video conference, and site visits.

Develop territory sales plan to include targeted contacts, segmentation of advisors, sales activity model week, and peer-to-peer champion coaching program.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent.

5+ years of direct sales experience in the financial, banking or mortgage industry.

Active Series 7 or ability to obtain within 120 days. (Obtaining the Series 7 may include passing the Securities Industry Essentials)

Active State securities agent registration (S63 or S66) or ability to obtain within 120 days.

Solid understanding of financial planning process & experience working with financial advisors.

Excellent communication & presentation skills.

Proven ability to quickly build & establish credibility & relationships.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks & adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Ameriprise Financial.

Knowledge of banking industry and products, including securities based lending, home lending, personal trust services, credit cards, and various cash solutions.
