How youll spend your time...

Institutional Clients/Consultant Relations Support

  • Initiate and follow up on client meeting arrangements.
  • Work closely with relevant teams to ensure materials are prepared accurately and delivered well in advance of meetings or client deadlines.
  • Actively review all RFPs/RFIs/proposals and ensure that the response is delivered in a timely and accurate manner. Highlight any potential issues early in the process.
  • Meet all sales/client-related deadlines. If deadlines set are unlikely to be achievable, provide sufficient lead time for work around/negotiation.
  • Timely and accurate preparation of firm and strategy information in the overview presentation and quarterly strategy summaries.
  • Work with the client service team to ensure all client materials are prepared accurately and on time at least 3 BD before meeting for delivery.
  • Work closely with Client Adoption team to ensure all areas are addressed before client account inception. If any requirements are unlikely to be met, alert senior management with sufficient lead time for work around/negotiation.
  • Assist and participate in consultant-related activities.

Other Wider Support Activities

  • Proactively engage with the various members across the region and provide support where necessary.
  • Provide regular updates on broader APAC activities.
  • Ensure database are updated on various product information (ie, performance, attribution, risk, characteristics and etc).
  • Maintain quarterly updated consultant rankings from Mercer for our key focus strategies.

To be successful in this role you will have...

Essential

  • Prior asset management experience with client exposure.
  • Appropriate level of asset management technical knowledge.
  • Proficient in Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint.
  • Well organize and works well under pressure.
  • Ability to take a roll-the-sleeves up approach to the role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable

  • Prior knowledge of using MercerInsight and Rainmaker.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ideally CFA and CAIA qualified.
  • Ability to read and write simplified and traditional Chinese.
