About this role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Risk Analytics Associate

In this role, you will

  • Participate in low risk initiatives within Risk Analytics
  • Review process production, and model documentation in alignment with policy, analyzing trends in current population
  • Receive direction from manager
  • Exercise judgment within Risk Analytics while developing understanding of analytic models, policies, and procedures
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to manager and experienced managers

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ months of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organizatio
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business need
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn business operations and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change
  • Experience in developing partnerships and collaborating with diverse team members representing diverse functional areas
  • Intermediate to advanced operational experience of Hadoop system
  • Intermediate to advanced coding ability using Python, R, or other open source programming languages as well as data processing using SQL, pandas, PySpark, etc.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Cloud computing services
  • Hands-on experience with model implementation and result auditing utilizing best practices and methodologies in the areas of data processing, test design/specification, performance assessment, and evaluation testing
  • Experience with model forms and output particularly with machine learning based models
  • Good understanding of modeling concepts, familiarity with model implementation and production, and model governance
  • Experience with risk management concepts, audit, and controls
  • Understanding of key regulatory compliance risk components, including experience driving consistency and quality across all aspects of a risk function, including a solid understanding of process controls
  • Strong conceptual and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments with challenging timelines
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
