Wells Fargo is seeking a Risk Analytics Associate...

In this role, you will

  • Risk Analytics Associate in Corporate Risk Reporting & Analytics will be responsible for execution of data controls, data operations, data defect management, data governance, meta data management for corporate risk reporting & analytics.
  • Contribute & adhere to process procedures and work with extended team and stakeholders in data loading & controls, data quality testing and data defect management.
  • Implement new data controls and interpret metadata.
  • Resolve simple business, operational, or technical challenges that do not require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Contribute to critical projects, and process deliverables, while leveraging understanding of the risk reporting regulations, data management policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Review and contribute enhancements to data operations process with a mindset of automating repeated and manual tasks.
  • Utilize SQL, SAS, SSIS, Python, Power BI & Tableau and ensure accurate data, testing and reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve business goals.
  • Partner with managers to coordinate data/ insights for team reporting

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of risk reporting / data management /data analytics. 2 + years of Risk Management experience (Any of the following - Compliance, Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Audit, Legal, Credit Risk, Market Risk, IT Systems Security, Business Process Management)
  • or
  • Foundational knowledge of ETL and data tools (SQL, SAS, SSIS, Power BI, Tableau) and Python

  • Experience with risk and control taxonomy and/or risk and control self-assessment (RCSA).
  • Experience with Enterprise Risk Identification process
  • Experience with data analytics and risk reporting.
