Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Reliability Engineer (Multiple Openings) in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Essential Responsibilities
This Reliability Engineer (Multiple Openings) position is part of a fast paced and highly motivated Capital Markets Application Support team. The team is responsible for delivering front-to-back support for interest rates and credit derivatives in addition to other Capital Markets trading applications. The team supports Calypso derivatives trading platform as well as other applications. The system handles functions like pricing, risk, accounting, settlements and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities include handling production support requests which include routine maintenance tasks like user management, setting up reports, batch monitoring and support troubleshooting real time urgent issues around pricing errors, trade workflow, interface failures, and production batch failures resolving issues using configuration changes without help from developers working closely with business users and the development team to prioritize and resolve issues maintaining production and lower environments coordinating server patching and releasing new functions by deploying code and configuration. Basic Qualifications
Requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems plus 2 years of experience as a
Software Engineer, Software Developer, Technology Associate, or related
Must possess 2 years of experience with Master's or 5 years of experience with Bachelor's with each of the following application support experience in capital markets domain implementing new platforms in banking and financial industry working on new development, enhancement, and maintenance projects managing build, release, and code repository perforce trouble shooting and performing root-cause analysis middle-office and back-office operations and reporting Quality Assurance User Acceptance Testing Calypso management system DevOps SDLC Java Linux Swaps Equity Linked Swaps Eclipse Oracle JIRA Autosys JBoss Application Server and SQL Developer.
