Vanguard has an exciting opportunity for a Bank Relations Analyst in our

Bank Strategy Relations Group

In this role you will

  • Develop strategic objectives and short and long- range goals in support of bank relationships. Work with internal business units and global management to plan and execute operational plans in support of departmental, divisional, and corporate objectives.
  • Provide consultative support to internal business units. Assess business needs and identify service improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with senior management to establish the service expectations, structure, and target service levels. Support the development of key reporting measures to capture internal client feedback.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external clients, business partners and custody banks. Develop and apply business units ideology and methodology to services provided in managing bank service relationship.
  • Develop and maintain strong understanding of the industry.
  • Recommend process changes to reduce risk, lower costs, increase client satisfaction and efficiencies, and identify new solutions.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

What it takes

  • Minimum of five years related work experience, with at least two years of broad banking related experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
  • CPA, CTP, or other financial designation preferred.
