Job Summary
Coordinates with all branch managers within a region and provides strategic guidance and advice. Forms alliances and relationships, both internally and externally, that will serve the best interest for all affiliated branches. Tracks service performance of individual branches and implements corrective action as needed, in partnership with other internal departments. Partners with Regional Directors and Branch Manager relative to the recruitment of experienced financial advisors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of the fields policies, procedures, and practices.
- Performs complex tasks with the goal of fulfilling business objectives.
- Serves as a spokesperson for Stifels mission and goals.
- Communicates with Regional Directors, Branch Managers, Financial Advisors, and other internal business partners on various PCG related responsibilities in a branch office.
- Partners with Human Resources on employee relation concerns, hiring and other HR related functions relative to the PCG Branch Offices, particularly for administrative roles within a branch office.
- Collaborates with leadership to strategically participate in the recruitment of Financial Advisors and the opening of new Private Client Offices.
- Coordinates the onboarding of the recruits joining the firm, in partnership with other internal departments.
- Advises Branch Managers and Financial Advisors on Business Succession and Business Transition Agreements.
- Acts as a liaison between Private Client Group and Home Office Departments.
Qualifications
- Strong ability to manage ones own time, projects, and deadlines to ensure the timely completion of all work.
- Excellent communicator and listener who can capture the needs and interests of financial advisors, branch support staff and various other business partners from telephone and in-person conversations.
- Advanced logic and reasoning skills to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or problem approaches.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Required Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum Required 7+ years' related experience.
Licenses & Credentials
- Preferred Series 7, 63 or 66
Systems & Technical
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to understand branch P&L System
- Knowledge of Thompson/ILX and internal Dashboard Systems
