Job Description
The Opportunity
The Receivables Analyst is an individual contributor primarily responsible for the monitoring and collection of overdue premiums on various billing systems. Your objective is to minimize loss and/or maximize return on premiums through prompt and appropriate loss mitigation.
In addition, you will be working
on the monitoring and handling of client, division, and benefit terminations. Your objective is to ensure various systems are cleared before finalizing the termination. The role involves working closely with our Underwriting and Distribution departments.
Responsibilities
- Apply effective collection techniques while enriching the customer experience.
- Assess and negotiate solutions to bring accounts up to date.
- Handle disputes and determine repayment plans while remaining customer-minded and empathetic.
- Ability to de-escalate customer concerns and resolve situations.
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and on time in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare adjustments and seek authorization to write off debit balances.
- Recommend process changes and system enhancements.
- Analyze, reconcile, and key timely coding including rolling of balances.
- Engage proper stakeholders for prompt closure of the termination files.
- Ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately and on time in a fast-paced environment.
