Who we are looking for

Technology Modernization is seeking an Officer level project manager to assist with activities

providing comprehensive technology, procurement, and financial management support.The role is global and will involve regular interaction with leadership across the Technology Modernization program and other IT and business stakeholders.

  • Coordinate & facilitate project-related meetings from project inception to production deployment. Responsibilities will include creating agendas and materials, taking comprehensive and reliable meeting notes, detailing agreed-to action items and tracking follow-ups.
  • Support the TMO and technology leads as trusted partners to execute and operationalize the technology strategy that is aligned to business priorities.
  • As we orient our partner ecosystem to a limited number of engagements, we have a need to go faster through the procurement, contracting, and onboarding processes to accelerate Technology Modernization. This resource will be responsible for a streamlined set of activities from intake to onboarding to support our partner relationships.

What you will be responsible for

As part of the Transformation Management Office (TMO) you will

  • Assist Technology Modernization teams support strategic goals and objectives
  • Provide analysis and present findings in response to project management activities and ad hoc requests, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
  • Prepare agenda and materials for team and stakeholder meetings
  • Liaise and drive the global procurement services process to ingest new project demand, facilitate prioritization by relevant stakeholders, expedite and track ongoing contractual milestones
  • Participate & support the supplier/partner onboarding process

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years technology experience, preferably experience in a complex, financial services setting
  • Aptitude to develop and maintain effective and shared working relationships with core partners and key business representatives
  • Knowledge of initiative prioritization as well as program and project management disciplines and methodologies a plus
  • Knowledge of State Street business is a plus
