Fund Connect Project Manager/Product Specialist AVP - Hybrid

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a Project/Product Manager for a hybrid role within our award-winning GlobalLink suite of products. This position will create, manage and execute project plans provide deep technical analysis track milestones and team accountability for deliverables. The individual will interface between end clients, Fund Connect teams, and senior management working cross-functionally across various levels of the organization. The successful individual in this role will apply their project management, communication, business analysis and teamwork skills to make a strong impact for both the growing Fund Connect platform and our clients.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As Project/Product Manager AVP, you will

  • Develop a deep understanding of existing Fund Connect infrastructure, data-models and database architecture
  • Conduct detailed front-to-back analysis of trading & settlement workflows for asset management & liquidity products
  • Deliver high-quality, detailed technical documentation business requirements in conjunction with product, technical & business teams including workflow diagrams, GUI definition and screen mock-ups
  • Provide input into database technical design (Oracle, SQL server)
  • Oversee the administration of documentation including product development schedules, release schedules, bug tracking and user manuals
  • Contribute to the design & testing of new functionality and GUI's
  • Work autonomously with confidence in a fast-moving, complex technical environment
  • Build solid relationships with colleagues across multiple functional groups of differing levels of seniority
  • Develop and implement Project Management processes and work with groups to define, prioritize, and create detailed project plans and programs.
  • Drive effective and impactful communication related to program activity, serving as a key point person for the product team and partner for key stakeholders in order to ensure active management of ongoing
  • issues/risks/decisions
  • Maintain the technology project portfolio to ensure project management processes throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC) are accounted for, tracked and well documented
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, both internal and external, on an ongoing basis to ensure stakeholders' expectations are met.
  • Drive and facilitate project review process at management level. Ensure appropriate team issues are elevated to management in a timely manner. Chair formal or ad hoc internal management processes regarding project decision points and or/project issue resolution.
  • Coordinate and track the project deliverables

What we value

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technical project or product management leadership in a financial services environment
  • Knowledge of electronic trading platforms in the Mutual Fund, FX and Fixed Income space with extensive experience of trade settlement
  • Highly self-motivated with exceptional integrity and a track record of building high-performing teams
  • Willingness to learn and eagerness to collaborate as part of a larger team

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Confident & clear communicator with excellent ability to articulate complex technical concepts to any audience
  • Technically competent with the ability to query in Python, VBA and SQL
  • Messaging expertise with FIX, REST API, SFTP, JSON, XML, SWIFT FIN/MX
  • Familiarity working with, and implementing, Cloud hosting solutions
  • Highly motivated with exceptional integrity and a track record of building high-performing teams
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Power user of Excel and Microsoft Project or equivalent PM tools
  • Experience with the implementation of mission-critical financial solutions.
  • Ability to convey plans, issues and concerns to clients and team members in a clear, logical and concise manner.
  • Ability to influence key decision makers both internally and externally.
  • Strong time management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
  • Strong problem solving/analytical skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with confidence in a fast-moving, complex technical environment
