Summary
The Product Specialist assists the team in researching and collaborating on digital strategies that drive the products success. The Product Digital Specialist will be experienced in Stifels client-facing technology and will periodically interface with members of Stifels development, marketing, and branch personnel teams. In addition, responsibilities may include ensuring a high-quality user experience, contribute to the creation of digital content, marketing, and training content.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists in information gathering and documenting requirements for content creation.
- Collaborates with the team to develop product strategies that meet the clients needs.
- Attends cross-departmental meetings to understand platform features and development strategy to assist senior team members and management in creating a marketing and training strategy that increases engagement and adoption by branch personnel and clients.
- Helps develop training and demonstrations that will be used to effectively promote the use of products and answer any questions they may have.
- Along with Senior Team Members, reviews market research to help identify customer needs, preferences, and behaviors.
- Along with Senior Team Members, reviews product performance and provides regular reports to management on sales, customer feedback, and product issues.
- Works with the product team to ensure that the product meets quality standards and customer expectations.
- Works with senior team members and management to understand relationships with internal support teams to understand the user experience of digital platforms and serves as the escalation point for issue resolution and communication.
- Assists in information gathering and documenting requirements for training and vendor relationships.
Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of Stifels client-facing technology platforms.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and for presentations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate complex issues that arise.
- A detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Willingness to learn about user experience design principles and practices.
- Should have a client-focused mindset with the ability to put the needs and expectations of the client first.
- Some travel may be required.
Education & Experience
Minimum Required Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred).
Systems & Technology
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and Sharepoint.
