Key Responsibilities

  • Manage carrier and distribution partner relationships
  • Provide insights and actionable recommendations to support advisor and client experience improvements
  • Support due diligence of carriers, products and concepts including oversight for the premium finance program and committee
  • Create and manage marketing and communications
  • Develop effective and relevant advisor education and training opportunities
  • Maintain a controlled and compliant product platform

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years financial services experience, preferably in insurance product management
  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills to solve complex problems and identify new product solutions along with attention to detail and personal accountability
  • Relationship and Project Management experience preferably with background in brokered insurance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations related to broker dealer responsibilities with regard to insurance products preferred
  • Active Series 7 or the ability to obtain within 120 days

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management experience
  • Experience working with Ameriprise project methodologies
  • Working knowledge of Ameriprise systems and tools (including BETA Host, Thomson One/Refinitiv, Denodo)
  • Data analysis experience
